Urvi Went To An All Girls School is a Fresh Blood project by Urvi Majumdar, Sophie Braham, Michelle Buxton, Rohan Ganju, Suren Jayemanne, Sukhjit Kaur Khalsa, Chris McDonald, Nina Oyama and Sashi Perera. Fresh Blood is a ground-breaking ABC and Screen Australia initiative that seeks to uncover the next generation of Australian comedy talent.

A supernatural horror short with an award-winning script by transgender writer-director Kylie Aoibheann.

Shot by Roger Stonehouse (AACTA-winning thriller Birdeater), The Dysphoria features practical effects by Sharp FX (Late Night with the Devil) and performances by Eva Rees (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Nowhere Boys), Adam White (Possum Hunter), Emmanuelle Mattana (Videoland, Mustangs FC), Carissa Lee (Sammy J, Planet Lulin) and Tim Clarke (High Country, The Doctor Blake Mysteries).

Through the mythic lens of Lilith, the film traverses the shadowed corridors of history, where patriarchal dominance has gone unchallenged across time and culture. By tracing the legacies of archetypal men‚ Adam, Genghis Khan, Henry VIII, and Napoleon‚ the film questions the enduring power of this ancient system and asks: what if the patriarchy surrendered its rigid hold?
